For Libraries, Colleges & Universities
Bring Redemption Time to Your Library, Campus, or Classroom
A 70-minute performance film that opens conversation about incarceration, literacy, responsibility, creativity, and the human dignity that punishment does not erase.
Redemption Time brings together poet Jimmy Santiago Baca and jazz violinist Christian Howes – two formerly incarcerated artists whose lives followed very different paths. Through spoken-word poetry, live jazz, personal testimony, and cinematic imagery, the film asks audiences to look beyond labels without looking away from harm.
